Tuesday, May 31, 2016 - 1st and 4th period exams **School is done @ 12:30 PM Exams are 2 hours on the 1/2 days... 8:30 - 10:25 am and then 10:35 - 12:30 PM
Wednesday, June 1, 2016 - 2nd and 5th period exams **School is done @ 12:30 PM
Thursday, June 2, 2016 - 3rd and 6th period exams

SRI Remediation

"SRI gives a lexile level for all 2nd - 10th grade students. This test lets teachers know if students are reading on grade level (or below)."

This test is given 3 times a year to all 9th and 10th graders and places students into one of four categories: Strategic, Intensive, Core, Advanced

The remediation/review will help teachers in lesson planning and differentiating instruction.
Career Ready 101
"Career Ready 101 is a comprehensive, easy-to-use curriculum to help individuals master the work readiness skills they need to be successful in a changing workplace. This internet-based learning system includes courses in career awareness and exploration, career preparation, job search, career success skills, financial awareness and the foundational work skills measured by the ACT WorkKeys job skills assessment system. Career Ready 101 incorporates tools and activities for identifying career interests, developing a resume, creating and managing a personal budget and exploring careers through job shadowing and mentoring."

There are four broad units:

1. Finding Your Career
2. KeyTrain Workplace Skills
3. KeyTrain Career Skills
4. Personal Skills

** We will be using this program over the course of this school year.. FRIDAYS ALL CLASSES ROOM 204!
ACT WorkKeys ...

Please refer to the Test Information Folder that I have just created. It gives important information about ACT WorkKeys, the ACT and any pertinent information about End of Course Tests with regard to students with disabilities and accommodations on these tests. Please look over this information carefully as it pertains to students in their third year of high school and/or 11th grade students.
